JACKSON, MI – Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Consumers Energy and the American Heart Health Association are teaming as much as increase consciousness for women’s heart health.
The three entities are internet hosting the Go Red Symposium, a day-long occasion designed to teach the group on methods for higher heart care and well-being, a press launch says.
The symposium begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, on the CE Innovation Center, 165 W. Michigan Ave. Registration and reception start at 12:45 p.m.
The occasion is free and open to the general public.
Six audio system are slated to debate heart health with the viewers.

12:45-1 p.m.: Registration and reception
1-1:05 p.m.: Mary Palkovich, Consumers Energy Wellness
Committees and Women’s Advisory Panel advisor and vice chairman of Gas Engineering & Support will welcome and and conduct a security second.
1:05-1:50 p.m.: Keynote Speaker Dr. Cathy L. Glick, heart specialist at
Henry Ford Allegiance Health, discusses “Heart Disease in Women.” A query and reply session will comply with.
1:50-2:10 p.m.: Sue Whitmarsh, proprietor of Breathe Yoga of Chelsea, will do a chair yoga demonstration.
2:10-2:30 p.m.: Carly Secord, registered dietician, will talk about wholesome consuming and preventive care.
2:30 – 2:50: Bea Furman, proprietor of Healing Song Therapeutic Massage, dialogue titled “Reiki and Energy Boosting Techniques.”
2:50 – Three:10 p.m.: Sindhujah Kalimuthu leads a guided meditation
Three:10 -Three:15 p.m.: Door prizes and shutting phrases
Attendees are inspired to put on red-colored clothes to “Go Red,” the discharge says.
