Background:
A low ratio of utilization of healthcare services in postpartum women might contribute to maternal deaths throughout the postpartum interval. The maternal mortality ratio is excessive in the Philippines. The purpose of this research was to look at the present utilization of healthcare services and the results on the health of women in the Philippines who delivered at residence.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional analytical research, based mostly on a self-administrated questionnaire, carried out from March 2015 to February 2016 in Muntinlupa, Philippines. Sixty-three postpartum women who delivered at residence or at a facility have been enrolled for this research. A questionnaire containing questions relating to traits, utilization of healthcare services, and irregular signs throughout postpartum interval was administered. To analyze the questionnaire knowledge, the pattern was divided into supply at residence and supply at a facility. Chi-square check, Fisher’s actual check, and Mann–Whitney U check have been used.
