A proposed rule to reverse a federal requirement that many spiritual employers present birth control protection in health insurance policy has been introduced by the White House Office of Management and Budget.

The requirement for free birth control protection was a part of the Affordable Care Act, however triggered quite a few lawsuits by employers with spiritual objections, The New York Times reported.
