Shanghai confirms new human case of H7N9 bird flu

BEIJING (Reuters) – Shanghai’s health authority has confirmed a new human case of an infection by the H7N9 pressure of avian influenza, the state-owned information company Xinhua stated on Friday.

The man recognized with H7N9 bird flu is being handled in a hospital, Xinhua reported.

Shanghai has already reported one human case of H7N9 an infection this month.

Shanghai is China’s largest metropolis by inhabitants with greater than 24 million residents.
