Hyderabad: The Zoology Department of University College for Women is organising a seminar on ‘Health and Hygiene’ practices for Women on Wednesday within the College premises.
The principal goal of the seminar is to teach the women about health and hygienic practices. The organising secretary of the programme and Zoology head of the division B Neerja informed The Hans India, “Even in this 21st Century we treat the health issues of girls in our family as a secondary factor, as a result these children remain ignorant about the hormonal changes happening in their body. If we start educating them in college, these girls will go out and educate other girls in the society.”
She additional added, “Most of the women and women even after coming to metropolis, usually are not correctly educated about sanitation and the best way to dispose waste supplies.
