HUNTINGTON – National Wear Red Day will usher in American Heart Month in Huntington with two events to rejoice Friday, Feb. 2.
The Tri-State Goes Red for Women Celebration luncheon will probably be hosted at midday Friday on the St. Mary’s Conference Center at 2849 fifth Ave. in Huntington. Lunch will function visitor speaker Sara Parcell, a West Virginian who was named a nationwide Go Red “Real Women” ambassador for 2018. A style present and door prizes will comply with, and the occasion consists of free heart-related screenings on website.

The occasion may also function a style present and door prizes. Additional help is offered by St. Mary’s Medical Center and Ebenezer Medical Outreach.
“Our Go Red For Women event is a great opportunity to reach out to women in our community and alert them to their personal risk factors for heart disease,” stated Wendy Thomas, occasion coordinator, in a launch. “By joining together we can raise awareness locally about heart disease and help lead women on the path to prevention.”
