GREENSBURG — The Decatur County Republican Women’s Club made group support a precedence once they visited Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) to distribute stuffed animals.

In an effort to consolation youngsters who had same-day surgical procedure final Friday, Decatur County Republican Women’s Club President Teresa Reiger spoke about this group venture.
“We met at the hospital to present elephants for the same-day surgery children, maybe to help them to be stay calmer – something to be happy about, take a little bit of fear out of what they may be facing for that day,” Reiger stated.

“As a group, we focus on the community, trying to have a positive outreach on it with anything that we can do, but especially for the children,” she stated. “We enjoy helping the community … that’s what we’re here for.”
