Blake Farenthold blames Republican women for healthcare vote, wishes he could duel them

Texas congressman, alleged sexual harasser and onetime owner of the domain blow-me.org Blake Farenthold thinks Republican women are accountable for the failure of the healthcare repeal. He’s upset he couldn’t sexually harass or shoot his opponents into voting for a invoice that may have taken healthcare away from hundreds of thousands of Americans.

As Talking Points Memo reports:

Appearing on a Corpus Christi radio station Friday, Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) not solely instructed that it was Republican women’s fault that the social gathering is fractured on how you can eliminate Obamacare, but in addition stated if it was “a guy from south Texas” on the middle of the disagreement, he may ask them to resolve their issues with a gun struggle.

“The fact that the Senate does not have the courage to do some things that every Republican in the Senate promised to do is just absolutely repugnant to me. … Some of the people that are opposed to this, they’re some female senators from the Northeast,” he stated, doubtless referring to Sen. Susan Collins, a Republican from Maine, who has been vocal about her opposition to every of the Senate’s health plans from the beginning. She stated over the weekend that she’s against the delayed repeal invoice.

I assume the gang that denounced political violence and violent rhetoric within the wake of the Congressional baseball apply capturing in June are flying to their nearest cable information speaking head alert field to denounce Farenthold’s feedback. Oh wait, however some assume that type of political violence is one thing worth standing up for? Well now I don’t know what to assume! It’s virtually like a few of these individuals want you could truly give you the chance to shoot individuals you disagree with.

This isn’t the primary time we’ve seen what Farenthold actually thinks of women, together with his coworkers in Congress. He confronted a sexual harassment go well with in 2014. Mediaite reported then:

The former worker, Lauren Greene, alleged that “Farenthold regularly drank to excess, and because of his tendency to flirt, the staffers who accompanied him to Capitol Hill functions would joke that they had to be on ‘red head patrol’ to keep him out of trouble.”

At least he gave us this.
