Abby Lee Miller, the star of the Lifetime collection Dance Moms, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison Tuesday after being discovered responsible of chapter fraud and illegally taking foreign money into the nation. Now, she’s talking out in a new interview about her response to the sentencing and the way she plans to cope behind bars.
In an interview with Good Morning America, she screamed out loud when she began speaking about her conviction of making an attempt to disguise $750,000 of her revenue from chapter proceedings. “I don’t want to hear that number anymore,” she stated, insisting she by no means deliberately tried to cover the cash. “I wasn’t ever trying to hurt anyone.”
While in jail, she stated she needs to learn and study to converse Spanish, and hold engaged on a new ebook. “We’re just going to pretend I’m shooting a movie, and we’re on set, and I’m there for 10 months, and that’s the way it’s going to be,” she stated.
After she will get out, Miller stated she’s going to realign her priorities. “[I want] to be a smarter businesswoman and also to worry about myself,” she stated. “I have spent so much time and so much energy making other people’s children stars. I didn’t have any children of my own. These were my kids, and I raised them like they were my kids.”
She additionally revealed her one remorse: “I would never have filed for bankruptcy. Ever. I do not recommend it.”
